Mrs. Christian Onia belonging to the cooperators unit of Mao passed away today (07 October 2020) at her village in Mao. Fr. C D Mathai, the parish priest of Mary Help of Christians parish presided over the last rite. She was born on 07 July 1950. She did her BA and B ED and served as Government assistant graduated teacher. She also got state teacher award. She retired from her teaching profession in year 2009. It was on 12 April 1992

Dimapur 24 September 2020: The Salesian Cooperators of Dimapur Unit met online for their first ever such meeting during this lockdown. All the members of the group participated in the online meeting which was chaired by Fr. Benny James SDB, the new local delegate on 24 September 2020 at 4.30 pm to 6.15 pm. Ms. Kaisa Josephine had convened the meeting to recoup the members during the pandemic Covid-19. All the participants took active participation in the meeting. Dimapur 25 August 2020: Robert Shetkintong (Dilbung) has been posted as the next Ambassador of India to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Robert joined the Indian Foreign Service in 2001. In 2003, he was posted to the Indian Mission in Tel Aviv as a language trainee (Hebrew). On completion of language course, he was posted to the Indian Embassy in Rome, and was there for almost 4 years. He then returned to New Delhi and served at the Headquarters between 2009 and 2012. The inauguration of the revamped province website (www.donboscodimapur.org) of the Salesian Province of Dimapur was held on 16 August 2020 on the 205th birth anniversary of the father and founder, St. John Bosco. The chief dignitary of the inauguration was Fr. Jose Kuruvachira SDB, the provincial, and others present were Fr. Nazarius Lakra – the Vice Provincial, Fr. Nebu Mathew – Economer and other fathers, brothers and lay persons. The inaugural ceremony began with a few words of introduction by Fr.
