Don Fabio Attard Elected 11th Successor of Don Bosco

Don Fabio Attard has been elected the 11th successor of Don Bosco, marking a historic moment for the Salesian Congregation. Chosen during the 29th General Chapter, he brings extensive theological, pastoral, and academic experience to lead the Salesians in their global mission for youth, especially the marginalized. Born in Gozo, Malta, in 1959, Don Attard joined the Salesians in 1980 and was ordained in 1987. He has served as a missionary, rector, academic, and global leader in youth ministry, notably as General Councilor for Youth Ministry (2008-2020). Golaghat, Assam – March 11, 2025 – Don Bosco College, Golaghat, a NAAC Accredited “B+” institution, successfully organized a National Workshop on Research Methodology & Proposals today, March 11, 2025. The workshop was organized by the Research & Publication Cell in collaboration with the Department of Political Science, in Manlio Research Centre, Don Bosco College, Golaghat. Students, researchers, academic professionals from more than 5 colleges and universities were represented in the national academic event. The workshop aimed to provide valuable insights and practical guidance to students, scholars, and faculty members on conducting effective research and developing compelling research proposals. The
