Bosco College of Teacher Education (BCTE), Dimapur, has secured a B++ Grade in its first accreditation cycle by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.86. The B++ grade underscores BCTE’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous development. A distinguished NAAC Peer Team conducted an on-site evaluation on February 13–14. National Seminar on Rural Development in Northeast India at Itanagar College

Aimed at discussing the challenges and opportunities for rural development in Northeast India, the Department of Economics at Don Bosco College Itanagar organized a two-day national seminar on “Challenges and Opportunities for Socio-Economic Development in Rural Areas of Northeast India.” The seminar, which took place on February 7-8, was supported by ICSSR-NERC and Federal Bank. The seminar featured several keynote speakers, including Shri Toko Tatung, MLA of the Yachuli Constituency, and Professor Joydeep Baruah, Director of the Surya Kumar Bhuyan School of Social Sciences.
