Dimapur: 5 June 2023: Colleges under the Salesian Province in Dimapur Province joined the global celebration of World Environment Day, organizing various activities to promote environmental awareness and sustainability. Despite being on holiday, the colleges came up with innovative ways to mark the occasion, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment among students. Kohima Don Bosco College demonstrated its commitment to environmental conservation by organizing insightful seminars. Kohima, 31 May 2023 : Bosco Green Alliance, in collaboration with the Departments of Sociology and Botany at Don Bosco College, Kohima (DBCK), successfully organized a comprehensive mushroom cultivation course certificate programme from April to May 2023. The initiative aimed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to cultivate mushrooms and encourage entrepreneurship in Nagaland. The program commenced with theory classes on April 3rd, providing participants with a solid foundation in mushroom cultivation techniques.
