Mebo, June 22, 2026: Don Bosco School, Mebo, organized its Felicitation Programme 2026 on June 22 to honour the outstanding achievements of its students and to encourage them to strive for greater excellence in life.
The programme commenced with a melodious welcome song presented by the students of Class X, followed by the words of welcome delivered by the Fr. Principal. The event featured a variety of cultural performances, including a Hindi dance, a dance by Jerina and her group, and another vibrant dance performance by Rachel and her group. A poem recitation by Ansh Shah added literary charm to the occasion.
One of the highlights of the programme was the felicitation of the rank holders and successful students of Classes V, VIII, and X for their academic achievements. Liyan Lego delivered an inspiring speech on the importance of education and encouraged students to remain dedicated to their studies.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of education in one’s life. He urged the students to respect their Fathers, Sisters, and Teachers who play a vital role in shaping their future. He reminded the students that respect brings blessings and encouraged them to set clear goals in life. Stressing the sacrifices made by parents, he advised the students to study sincerely, become responsible citizens, and contribute positively to society.
The programme concluded with the singing of the Hymn to Don Bosco, leaving the students inspired and motivated to pursue excellence in both academics and character.
