Mebo, June 22, 2026: The hostel boys of Don Bosco, Mebo, presented a vibrant and inspiring theatrical show on June 22, 2026, under the theme “Bloom Where You Are Planted.” The programme showcased the talents and creativity of the hostel boarders while conveying a message of hope, growth, and perseverance.
The programme commenced with an address by Fr. Pradeep, who encouraged the boys to make the best use of the opportunities available to them and to blossom wherever God has placed them. A melodious welcome song by the Magone Group set the tone for the evening.
The audience was treated to a rich variety of cultural performances. The Bosco Group enthralled the gathering with a lively dance and an entertaining skit, while the Savio Group presented a soulful song, a thought-provoking mime, and an energetic dance performance. The Magone Group also captivated the audience with another graceful dance item.
Adding further charm to the evening, Dongkyo rendered a melodious song, and the Rua Group delighted the audience with a song followed by two vibrant dance performances.
The programme highlighted not only the artistic talents of the hostel boys but also the values of teamwork, creativity, and self-confidence. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Fr. Anim, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the programme. The evening came to a fitting close with the singing of the Don Bosco Hymn.
