On 31st January a significant milestone unfolded at Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre (DBVTC) with the blessing and laying of foundation of a new Spirituality Centre. Fr. Joseph Pampackal, the Provincial, blessed the site and laid the foundation stone, joined by Fr. Deli David, Vice Provincial, and Fr. Rajeesh Devasia, Economer, along with confreres from the Dimapur region.
In his address, Fr. Provincial emphasized that this initiative addresses a critical need for the spiritual well-being of God’s people and shared that establishing a Spirituality Centre has been a long-standing dream of the province. Fr. Rajeesh Devasia delivered the welcome note and expressed gratitude to all attendees, including village headman Mr. Andrew and the construction workers. Fr. Rajeesh also thanked Fr. C.T Varghese, Rector of 3rd Mile DBVTC, Fr. Jose Edamala and Bro. Alex Tuti, community members of DBVTC, and Fr. C.P Mathew, the project architect. This new centre marks an important step forward in providing spiritual resources and support to the community.
