Don Bosco College Kohima (DBCK) marked a new milestone in promoting health and fitness on Friday 12th September, with the inauguration of its Bosco Gym. The facility is designed to support both students and faculty in building physical fitness, discipline, and resilience.
Mr. Avilie Zuyie graced the inauguration, a proud DBCK alumnus, National and International Arm-Wrestling Gold Medalist, and Champion Team Winner of the Pro Panja League Season 2 (2025). Representatives from Fusion Fitness Gym, who collaborated with the college in setting up the facility, were also present at the occasion.
In his welcome address, Fr. Dr. Tious Varghese, Principal of DBCK, emphasized the gym’s purpose: “to promote the health and fitness of students and faculty members, and to serve as a mental training facility fostering discipline and resilience.”
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was followed by a guided tour of the gym, including equipment demonstrations.
