The Salesian Province of Dimapur joyfully celebrated the Priestly Ordination of Rev. Fr. Kamei Singnaupou Fidelis, SDB, on 3 January 2026 at St. Barbara Church, L. Khunou (Namkaolong-1), under St. John Bosco Parish, Khoupum, Noney District, Manipur. The sacred rite of ordination was conferred by Most Rev. Dr. Linus Neli, DD, Archbishop of Imphal, in the presence of Salesians, religious, family members, and a large gathering of the faithful.
The solemn Eucharistic celebration was marked by deep prayer and thanksgiving for the gift of priesthood bestowed upon the Church. A Thanksgiving Mass was also celebrated on 4 January 2026 at the same venue, drawing together the local Christian community in gratitude and joy.
Fr. Fidelis’ ordination marked the culmination of years of Salesian formation and pastoral preparation. The Province rejoices in this blessing and assures Rev. Fr. Kamei Singnaupou Fidelis of continued prayers and fraternal support as he begins his priestly ministry in the spirit of Don Bosco.
