Don Bosco School, Borduria, organized a House-wise Spelling Bee Competition on Saturday, 20 June 2026, at 10:30 a.m. The competition, conducted by Sir Ajay Tete with the cooperation of all the teachers, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 165 students from Classes IV to VII.
Each House was represented by 10 participants, comprising both boys and girls. The event was marked by keen competition, excitement, and impressive displays of spelling prowess. One of the highlights of the programme was the outstanding performance of Gohang Ago of Class VII, who correctly spelled an incredible 72 words in just two minutes during the Rapid Fire Round.
After several challenging rounds, Yellow House emerged as the overall champion with 374 points, followed by Green House in second place with 341 points, Red House in third place with 326 points, and Blue House in fourth place with 263 points.
The competition proved to be both entertaining and educational, fostering vocabulary development, confidence, and healthy competition among the students.
