The Annual Salesian Family Day of the Salesian Province of Dimapur was celebrated on 27 June 2026 at Don Bosco Provincial House, Dimapur. The programme included prayer, a chapter-wise presentation on Pope Leo XIV’s latest encyclical Magnifica Humanitas by Fr. Shilanand Kerketta, SDB, cultural performances by the participating Salesian Family groups, an inspiring address and Eucharistic homily by Fr. Joseph Pampackal, SDB, Provincial of Dimapur, and concluded with a fellowship lunch. The gathering renewed the commitment of the Salesian Family to St. John Bosco’s mission of serving young people through “a heart that feels, a faith that intercedes, and hands that serve.”
