As part of the National Programme for Control of Blindness and Visual Impairment, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Kohima, conducted a two-day Vision Screening Programme for students. The initiative was led by Dr. Phyantsuthung Kikon, Joint Director and State Programme Officer, Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland. A total of 423 students underwent eye screening, and 328 students were identified to receive free spectacles. The programme aimed to promote eye health awareness, facilitate early detection of vision problems, and support students’ academic and personal development through improved vision care.
